When I lived in New York City in 2008, I wrote a series of notes imagining my life in different cities. One of the most specific I ended up with was Zagreb; I knew exactly what I'd like to do if I lived there and this vision also influenced the idea of my dream apartment.
On the suffocatingly hot day in June when I took this photo at Zagreb's Špica (center of the center), I didn't know this lady had also managed to make her way into it yet. Coincidentally, she appears to be one of those women who (to me) embody the essence of Zagreb.
